How do I register my yacht in Panama?

NEW VESSEL REGISTRY & DELETION OF FOREIGN REGISTRY

Cost & Legal Fees
  • $1,250 USD - Corporate Establishment ( Annual fees for corporation are $600 usd)
  • $1,000 USD - Registration fee in AMP for national corporations.($1,500 USD if the owner is an offshore company or not panamanian)
  • $1,500 USD - Expenses and Legal fees
  • $500 USD - Annual vessel management fee
  • $150 USD - Nominee director-In case a director is needed for the corporation.

  • Directors (3 minimum)
  • President, secretary & treasurer
  • Percentage of shares(100%)
Requirements for Flag registration in the Maritime Authority
  • Name of the corporation (national or offshore) and incorporation certificate
  • Name of the vessel (new name)
  • Bill of sale
  • Deletion certificate(In case of coming from another registry) New vessels will just provide the builder certificate
  • Motor information
  • Radio equipment on board (photos)
